Except for the Auburn-UNC Super Regional decider this past season, but I'm in the minority in that I care about college baseball.

The NLCS is set: It's Cardinals v. Nationals, thanks to Rendon, Soto, and Kendrick.

Hopefully it means the Cardinals go the World Series.

Yankees-Nats would mean we squared off with every NL East team in my lifetime. Crazy! Currently the most likely matchup but also likely to be surpassed later today by Astros-Nats.

The Cardinals got blanked 2-0 by the Nats. Aníbal Sánchez's no-no bid got foiled by pinch-hitter José Martínez with 2 outs in the 8th inning.

Nationals lead the NLCS 1-0.

The Cardinals down 2-0 to the Nationals is saddening to see. The Cards scored just 1 run in two games at Busch.

Hopefully we fight back in DC and win at least 2 or all three games in Washington. Our bats need to be awakened!

MLB proposing radical reworking of minor league baseball

Moving draft to August.  No more short season league leagues.  Geographic reorganizations and 42 minor league teams would disappear, or become part of something called the "Dream" League.
