This will probably be the world series where I'll care least who wins in a very long time. If forced to pick maybe I'd pull for the Nationals but frankly I don't care one way or the other.

Astros are becoming the Dynasty the Yankees were. Classly Aaron Judge Congrats the Astros; Gary Sanchez lack of response and disappearance didnt make him look good like his fellow Dominican Aaron Judge

MLB proposing radical reworking of minor league baseball

Moving draft to August.  No more short season league leagues.  Geographic reorganizations and 42 minor league teams would disappear, or become part of something called the "Dream" League.

That's good. There are way too many minor leaguers with absolutely no chance of ever making it to the majors who are being scammed with the false hope and getting paid less than minimum wage.

No other sport does this to this extent. Let the no-chancers move on with their lives (or try their fortune in independent ball if they insist) and give all of the saved salary to the minor leaguers who do have a chance to make it.

And then they'll lose in 6 to the Astros/Red Sox/who knows in the ALCS.

From your lips to God's ears, except for that part about the Red Sox

A couple of factoids I learned in the last couple of days:

1. The Yankees were the winningest team in baseball in the 2010's, yet did not win a pennant in the decade.

2. The Astros issued zero intentional walks this year.

The Yanks needed Gary Sanchez to hit. He went 2-21. The Yanks needed to win 2/3 at home to have a chance to beat Astros. Gary Sanchez didnt even respond to any reporters questioning after the ALCS.

Austin Romine is the best catcher on the Yankees.

That last inning of the ALCS was so incredibly tense, I'm just glad it all worked out.

Nats/Astros should be fun! Both teams are pretty likeable so there's no one to root against this year.

The last time the Yankees won the World Series, Fireflies by Owl City was the number one song in America. You could listen to it on your few-months-old iPhone 3gs after purchasing it from iTunes!

Absolutely love watching the Yankees lose. It's like heroin.

2. The Astros issued zero intentional walks this year.
wow... I had to look it up, an interesting article was soon found.  cite

They beat their record from last year, when they tossed just 4 of them.  But the entire league is way down.

Another interesting (to me) bit was that number 8 hitters in the NL are getting a higher percentage of the walks, but not because pitchers are bad hitters, but because #8 hitters are just so damn good these days.

Astros were indeed vulnerable and it was proven the Yanks should of intentionally walked Altuve. Congrats for the sweep Nats

Nats totally outplaying the Astros, and they've gotten around both Cole and Verlander already.
Game 1 was more or less even, but they totally crushed it in Game 2. That was brutal.

Eventhough I predicted an Astros win, just like when Yanks Gary Sanchez didnt hit or Braves Freddie Friedman didnt hit, Altuve isnt hitting.  As a result, it was clear the Yanks blundered that leadoff walk off homer and should of walked Altuve.

The Astros have just become embarassing. They got off on the wrong foot with the Osuna comment. It's sad - I hope they can come back.

Shocked I was under the impression you were a Dallas/DC person (like Mikado?)! This is an easy choice for you?

Altuve broke out of his hitting slump. Astos are road Warriors, they can still be champs
