I've been 9,000 feet up Mt. Hood to Cooper Spur, which is the highest point on an official trail, a.k.a. the highest point you don't need ice equipment to safely get to.

I've probably been higher in Yellowstone when I was a kid, but I'm not sure exactly where we went.

Edit: Can confirm I've been at least 10,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park on a family vacation in 3rd grade.

Probably just somewhere in the Berkshires or Vermont.

I can confirm I've been at least 1,724 feet up.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful. I went a few years ago with my mom and we had a great time. We actually went to Reno but took a day trip to Tahoe and I remember being weirded out by the fact that it was like 100 degrees F in Reno but after a short car trip it was freezing and there was snow.

One WTC or 432 Park or Yosemite or the Grand Canyon, not sure which is the highest. Actually, maybe it was mount Hood. IDK.

When I was younger we took the cog up Pike’s Peak summit. That is around 14,115 feet.
I will probably try to beat that next year.

Somewhere near Flagstaff, AZ probably. Not sure exactly where.

Probably the same for me, likely at the Lowell Observatory.

Bonus question: Do you know (without looking it up) which U.S. state has highest average elevation?
It's not Alaska...

PS: Wouldn't that be a good question for a geography board? Roll Eyes

Loveland Pass in Colorado. I walked up the little staircase they have there, so it would have been just over 12,000 feet.

Clingmans Dome, TN/NC, at 6,643 feet above sea level.  It's the high point of Tennessee and just barely not the high point of the Eastern US.

Here's another funny fun fact that would perfectly fit into a geography board:

What's the distance between the highest point of the contiguous 48 states and their lowest point?
