I don't think she makes it past April 12th (the day Brexit happens).

After everything that has happened, I will believe it when I see it.

May enjoys advantages most of previous PMs didn't. Te fixed term act, and rules regarding vote of no confidence (both within the Parliament and her own party) allowed her to cling on so far, despite the fact she suffered a series of massive policy defeats in the House. Also, remember the Tory mentality that "the assassin cannot replace the king", which makes an open challenge unlikely. Not to mention people are naturally reluctant to take over such a mess.

Then again, her "luck" should've ran out by now.

Forever.  The rumours are true.  The UK is the new location of purgatory.  Keep a stiff upper lip.

The Tories are smart enough to know that Corbyn would be the next PM, so they’ll drag on to near suicide till the situation becomes in their favor, or be in place for enough time to move their assets out of the UK.

She'll step down as Prime Minister once Brexit is delivered.

She'll be dictator for life. Tongue

Theresa May lifeless, embalmed body could occupy 10 Downing Street and it wouldn't change anything.

She has no reason to call for an early election.  She should just wait out the storm, and hold the election as scheduled next year.

As it currently stands until June- its worth noting that we've never actually had a competitive membership lead leadership election for PM (both May and Brown won unopposed), so even after she quits as Party Leader we'd have at the very least 10-12 of Tory Party Hustings to deal with. Especially as it they're not going to let it go uncontested again (it is hilarious that Tory members haven't voted for anything since what 2005?)

Of course it all depends on A.) Whether her deal passes B.) Whether she names a date herself, or gets forced out.

She has no reason to call for an early election.  She should just wait out the storm, and hold the election as scheduled next year.

She actually has a reason- to get a majority, and new mandate for her Brexit deal, or to stop Parliament from passing a 'softer' version of Brexit. And the next scheduled one is for 2022, since it refreshed in 2017.
