Quote
Justice Dept. to release two versions of redacted Mueller report.

There will be two versions of the redacted special counsel report, with one being released to the public and one that will eventually go to a limited number of members of Congress with fewer redactions, the Justice Department said Wednesday.

Some of the redactions in the Mueller report will be because of the gag order in the case involving Republican activist Roger Stone, they wrote. Prosecutors say they are making these redactions so not to potentially prejudice a jury, since Stone has pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces and is headed to trial.

“But the plans reports were on display…”
“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”
“That’s the display department.”
“With a flashlight.”
“Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.”
“So had the stairs.”
“But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?”
“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”

Nadler will be holding his own press conference tonight at 8 pm(I think). This is a giant mess.

Honestly should the press even cover the press conference?

Republicans don't care about transparency, only about shaping narratives. Barr epitomizes this.

Going by the Washington Post, it seems like Barr will be going for the "too naive/too stupid to know better" defense tomorrow.

Everybody will just forget in three days so we may as well get this over with before the holiday weekend so that Trump's polls can rise again.

You have to admit, Trump has laid a huge amount of very impressive persuasive groundwork for his upcoming "I am too much of a sub-moronic blithering idiot to know I was committing treasonous crimes" defense. I suppose he doesn't really care that it makes each and every one of his supporters and defenders look like malign fools.

Does Trump not realize how bad he’ll get it from late night comedy if this is his/Barr’s defense?

Thursday April 18th may be the very beginning of pre-impeachment.

Trump clearly obstructed justice. Mueller Report will show that all congress has to do is connect a few more dots to.l prove it. This will show the Democrats which investigations to open to put the cheeto behind bars.

This is idiotic. How can anyone ask informed questions about Barr's presentation of the report if they only will have a chance to review it after the press conference is over?

Calm down.  This kind of histrionics before the report is even released just makes you look silly.

All of this before it's even released? And even after we were told there's nothing to get Trump on obstruction of justice or collusion? You have high hopes for a report that doesn't seem to be sending Trump to impeachment any time soon.

While this redacted report may not provide what a lot of Atlas hopes for, it's false to say that the Barr summary stated there was "nothing to get Trump on obstruction of Justice".  Did you miss the part where it says the report neither incriminates nor exonerates the President?

Ok. Barr's OOJ-defence of the President was quite partisan.
