Assuming they made it through the primary, in which of the following states could a candidate win a federal election statewide? (President or Senate)

Republican:
-ProLife, but supports gay rights
-Medical marajuana legal, decriminalize marajuana
-Believes in Global warming and supports measures to combat it
-Supports Tightening Immigration law and a southern border wall but supports DACA and path to citizenship
-Traditional GOP economic platform (lower taxes, less regulation), but very concerned about deficit so won't sign Norquist pledge

How would they do in... (assuming generic D opponent)
Nevada
Colorado
Virginia
North Carolina
Florida
New Hampshire
Maine

NV
NH
FL (easily)
NC (easily)
ME ( only 3 out of 4 EVs)
CO (in a R+3 or more year)
VA (in a 2008 redux, but the GOP gets the 2008 margin)

They win NC and FL, and ME-02, but they lose everything else.

Would probably win FL, NC, ME-02 and NH, in addition to at least three of MI, WI, PA and AZ. Nevada would be a tossup. CO and VA are only possible if the Democratic nominee is as weak as Hillary.

Who in today's GOP is closest to matching that description? Kasich or Hogan?
