That video is straight-up not very good, is it?

Very low production value - and why Charlottesville?

Yeah, wrote it in the other topic, it's really odd for campaign launch video. Tells me that his campaign will not be top notch stuff.

I will vote for anyone including Bernie Sanders to deny him the nomination. Let’s go!

Been more or less inevitable since November 9 2016. Let's see if he can perform up to expectations.

Well, I wasn't hoping to see the Democrat take a leaf from the 2016 Republican playbook but let's see how it works out.

The feminist are going to eat this man alive. He'll be living in Antarctica within 6 months.

They didn't eat Trump alive nor send him to live in Antarctica, and he is significantly worse than Biden.

This ad contains nothing but platitudes and lacks policy substance. We all saw how that worked out back in 2016...

Not my very first choice, but I'd strongly support Biden if he ends up the nominee, or against Sanders.

I'm not sure though, whether focusing on national identity is the right strategy against Trump (if he does so, but the video may indicate). I mean the stuff like "we're better than Trump". Yes, I agree on that, but will this bring back WWC voters who defected from the Obama coalition? I dunno. He needs to focus on being the champion for workers who has the experience to get stuff done and restore our standing on the world stage.

If Joe Biden can talk that effectively about the moral threat Donald Trump stands to the country and still attract low-information white voters to his campaign, that’s a balance I can be okay with. He held no punches but found a way to not look like he was lecturing anyone about their poor behaviour. We’ve gotta see some economic policy proposals, but I’m not counting him out.

Getting past the gross touchy-feels stuff this early was a big masterstroke.

I think he’s probably the only messenger who could pull it off.

I have no serious issue with Joe Biden but the Democratic campaign he's running seems anachronistic. When will the Democratic party get over talking about factory jobs and this outdated idea about "1950's-1960's middle class America" that if we're honest excluded many Americans.
Today many American workers are poor, or working poor, or middle class so long as they don't miss a few paychecks. He launched talking about a guy making 60k and wife who makes 32k but since they have 2 kids going to college they're not "making it". I can imagine a couple with student debt, an astronomical monthly rent, substandard or no healthcare, working multiple jobs in this gig economy thinking "what the hell is this guy on about..."

This video honestly looks cheap, especially with that font for the Declaration of Independence lines.
