Hartford, CT
2000
Gore 21,445 (80.22%)
Bush 3,095 (11.58%)
Phillips 1,202 (4.50%)
Nader 818 (3.06%)
Buchanan 100 (0.37%)
Browne 73 (0.27%)

Could this be a clerical error? Hartford is the most Democratic city in Connecticut so a Constitution candidate winning 4.50 percent of the vote there should raise some eyebrows, but this is what is reported on the Secretary of State's website and in the 2000 Statement of the Vote.

Bridgeport, CT
2000
Gore 24,303 (72.68%)
Bush 7,406 (22.15%)
Nader 865 (2.59%)
Phillips 715 (2.14%)
Buchanan 81 (0.24%)
Browne 70 (0.21%)

Again, 2.14 percent is kind of a high for a far right-wing candidate to get in a heavily Democratic city in a reliably blue/Atlas red state.

Yeah, it might be a clerical error. Maybe the actual results for Phillips and Nader were the other way around? If so, that would make more sense. The rest looks about right.
