The scene with Vader and Luke walking down the hallway after Luke turns himself in on Endor.  Perhaps it's in contrast to the goofy Ewok sh**t that happened right before.

I like the one when they are in the space ship and the bad guys are trying to capture the big city planet and then like, he crashes the spaceship into the landing strip and stuff.

Either that or the one with the big lizard thing, until it gets shot down into the hole by the soldiers when they decide to kill all the sword guys.

The Opera Scene from episode 3 was one of the most underrated scenes in Star Wars

But my favorite moment is either the Anakin - Obi Wan duel or the moment where Vader turns back to the light side by killing Sidious

In the movies: Vader kills Palpatine/Sidious to save Luke from being electrocuted by Force Lightning, the scene alone makes Return of the Jedi better than Empire Strikes Back.

The climax of ROTJ between Luke, Vader and the Emperor. ROTJ is overall hit or miss but that final lightsaber fight and Vader saving Luke is worth it

Ep. 1: Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's duel with Darth Maul
Ep. 2: Asteroid field space battle
Ep. 3: Opera scene
Ep. 4: Final Death Star trench run
Ep. 5: "No, I am your father"
Ep. 6: Lightsaber duel at the end (probably my favorite overall)
Ep. 7: Rey and Ren duel in the woods
Ep. 8: The scene where Luke tricks Ren

The end of the last Jedi, mainly Luke's death and the Canto Bight broom scene.

Luke and Vader's telepathic conversation while he's dangling below the cloud city.

A newish honorable mention is the handoff at the end of Rogue One. That was badass.

The moment when the franchise ended in the 1980s. It was really principled of them to stop making these movies on a high note, rather than allow the series to devolve into half a dozen cash-grab pieces of trash beloved only by neckbeards and submoronic mouth-breathers.

Tough. Twin suns in the first one is an obvious pick, but my mind also goes to the cave in Empire and the Throne Room in Jedi. Either way I think I'll throw on the originals for the first time in a while, relive some fun memories.

Well if that's your standard, the franchise ended in 1980 and never filmed those cuddly Ewoks

The scene at the end of Return of the Jedi when Luke takes off Darth Vader's mask so his father can look at him with his own eyes.  It encapsulates the entire story right there and it's a beautiful scene.

I assume you mean when Luke is in the medical ward on the Millennium Falcon?  Because the only two people he is trying to reach for rescue when he is hanging on for dear life is Obi-Wan, and then when that proves fruitless he turns to Princess Leia.

When that robot that looks like a pedal bin and the girl with the funny hair and the cowboy guy all win after smashing that massive metal eyeball thing and killing that old man and then live happily ever after on that planet with the teddy bears.

I would not call Return of the Jedi a high note.

I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I don't think it's a good movie.
