When will Major League Baseball and it’s Players’ Association come to an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement and end the lockout that went into effect after Dec 1, 2021?

I’ll say it won’t be until mid-2022, resulting in a roughly 2020-style season.  The previous work stoppage in the sport was a generation ago now, and there was extra tension created between the two sides in the pandemic-necessitated negotiations last year.  Though I don’t think they’ll be stupid enough to lose the World Series like in 1994 or a whole season like the NHL did in 2004-05.

I don't think the union is particularly interested in negotiating, and they're willing to see multiple seasons canceled to force the owners to cave.

I don't think it'll come to that, but I do think we'll lose at least this season, and probably part of next season too.

I see it lasting until at least Spring Training. If it threatens to delay and/or cancel any part of the regular season, then I think MLB is in dire straits.

If the owners won't budge until a salary cap is instituted, nothing in 2022 for sure.

The Dodgers are obviously waiting for Trevor Bauer to come back they let Scherze go, but the Dodgers haven't made any improvement in their lineup and Giants don't have Posey, I can take a break from Baseball

Feb. or even Mar. with severely shortened ST. I just don't see them giving up regular-season games at the end of the day.
