Not really sure if this is the right thread for International Maps, but at any rate this certainly fits the "random" part of the title.

Truman winning but Thurmond picks up all confederate states, and I shaded the states to what I think would realistically happen in this case

In hindsight, I would flip the shades of Virginia and Tennesse. I dont see a way where Crump approves of Thurmond before Byrd

I meant that it closely parallels the 2016 election in terms of the state positions on the matter, and how they voted in the general election. And I did note that there were some exceptions-Nevada and Colorado being two of the most obvious to me.
