I know this doesn’t really matter but it’s the dumbest ing metaphor I’ve ever seen. Xavier and Magneto are both way more complicated than that. Magneto isn’t even a villain and he’s a holocaust survivor, maybe comparing him to Trump is messed up. Also Xavier isn’t exactly a Saint either.

Warren is just about the overtake Sanders. How is #3 in a position to call #2 to quit? Some dude on Twitter is talking nonsense. It's safe space, as I've said on various occasions. This is almost like Beto offering the VP slot to Warren or Biden.

Isn't the usual plot arc more "Team up with Magneto in an uneasy alliance against a new threat, and be surprised when Magneto turns on you the second the threat passes?"

But right.

To annul a corrupt criminal's conviction because you agree with his policies? No, it never was.

To think that people believed that 2016 was a particularly nasty primary...

Speaking as a strong supporter of Sanders in 2016, this is a sad direction for his campaign. Not only is this an unfair attack on Warren, it also violates Sanders' entire political message. In my view, anyway.  You hate to see it.

Did he just imply that WARREN is affiliated to the "corporate wing of the Democratic Party"?

It looks like Sunset Bernie is back, and quite early at that.

Also, as a strong Bernie 2016 supporter, I agree with you as well, Averroës.

Whatever staffer tweeted that will probably be gone. I find it hard to believe he actually believes that, that sounds like someone from TYT or their affiliates talking, not Bernie himself. But, as far as the tweet goes, it's not like its untrue anyway, just not the most civil way to go about it.

I don't think this primary has anything on 2008-2016 yet for nastiness. Sanders is thrashing about in desperation, sure, but that alone doesn't make it nasty.

It's obvious that a lot of anti-progressives are pushing Warren, whether it's because Warren is less progressive than Bernie or they think it will be easier to take down Warren later.

Sanders cares only about Sanders. That was obvious to anyone who hasn't drank the Kool aid.

Which is why it will be so satisfying when he gets crushed in Iowa and New Hampshire and pulls the plug on his ego-trip campaign.

I think Sanders usually gets way too much flack for simply rocking the boat and not thinking the current Democratic leadership is perfect, but I do hope that he personally does not believe that about Warren and clarifies his position, because that's simply inexcusable.

Interesting that the article talks about how broadly popular Warren’s ideas are as a way to appeal to moderates, but somehow Bernie’s apparently aren’t?

Interesting that the article talks about how broadly popular Warren’s ideas are as a way to appeal to moderates, but somehow Bernie’s apparently aren’t?

It's a framing issue more than anything else. Warren frames her proposals around sound policy that benefits the working people, while Bernie has carried the "Democratic Socialism" label alongside his proposals.

Upon closer inspection, both of their policies are similar and reach the same goal. To the naked eye, so to speak, Warren's position is perceived as more palatable simply because of how she frames the conversation.

Perceptions are crucial.

That is not true. The centrist think tanks know Bernie is the only candidate who can get a Medicare for all or some sort of that legislation passed & are worried about it. Warren will come up with something moderate since she was never an early backer & wanted to strengthen the ACA & only supporter because everyone else did.

She also doesn't have the political acumen, charisma or devoted support to string together a movement to achieve much. She will have o Achievements.

As for the tweet, what is so wrong? Centrist think tanks will choose anyone but Bernie, even Wateen, which is true.

Warren doesn’t have political acumen or charisma but is about to overtake your boy in the polls.
