Koolyanobbing is less a town and more of a mining camp. Unless I could get a job in the industry that requires me to live there and doesn't exhaust me, I'd pick the coastal city. Ulladulla is fairly cool for Australia, being south of Sydney and east of Canberra.

Columbia, MO or Lincoln, NE?

Lincoln. It has more things to do in the city itself, and is a bit under an hour away from Omaha (my favourite Great Plains city), while Columbia seems like a comparatively boring 'generic Midwest city.'

Boston, Massachusetts, US or Boston, Lancashire, UK?

Boston Mass all the way. One of the better cities in this country whereas all of Lancashire is pretty meh.

Pittsburgh or Cleveland?

San Francisco has a lot of problems right now but NOLA is viable to be underwater within my lifetime and is too humid. SF if I can afford it.

Lima (Peru) or Lima (OH)

Peru easily. I Lived in the latter for a few years a couple decades ago while working as a prosecutor there. An absolute s*** hole. One of the worst places in Ohio to live I warrant. I'd seriously sooner choose Youngstown.
