How come there is no way for government departments to have some discretion in the length of their deliberations due to differing circumstances?

It has long been my opinion that our economy does best when energy prices are cheaper. It is also the case that the difficulties faced by lower income Atlasians are lessened as well when there isn't the constant upward pressure on the prices of necessity items, which is the result whenever fuel prices go through the roof.

They can get an injunction to extend the time upon the showing of cause either by an aggrieved party or the agency itself.
