Beating up monks and injuring them heavily in a Church during Christmas is highly vicious, no matter if it's the so-called "highly diversifying crowd" that's coming in lately or not.

I'm not a big fan of religion and church, but this has no place and they need to be hunted down by the police.

Since everybody knows what "unidentified assailants" means, how long before they start using "we don't know who did it, no really!  Stop laughing!  I mean, we don't want to speculate, but it was probably white guys."

There would be a dangerous, unproductive precedent by allowing speculation to be uttered when discussing attacks of this nature in news. Both society, the institutions, and the news source would be prone to making grave errors. Look at how after attacks in Boston, just speculation on social media possibly resulted in the murder of some innocent civilian.

The case here is different because those wounded have said to media that the attackers looked "foreign" and spoke " a foreign language".

So, it's very unlikely that they are from here.

Also: The attackers beat up and cuffed the victims and then left the church. Only after some victims were able to get rid of the cuffs, police was able to be called. That was several hours after the attack.
