Good point. The entire industrial complex of Russia is overwhelmed with problems that are getting more serious every year.

The most hillarious aspect is that they now have problems obtaining even some really essential spare parts for their current arsenal, because they didn't bother to manufacture them ourselves. Why bother? They got oil and gas and could simply buy stuff abroad... then the sanctions came and oil prices dropped.

Russian troll confirmed. Incoming ban in 5 seconds

Meanwhile, they can't get their fancy new tank to finish a parade.

Why can't you see that this was intentionally planned?

You all underestimate Russian threat. US anti-ballistic systems can intercept only traditional missiles. Putin boasts  new Russian supersonic missiles can not be intercepted by any "existing and prospective missile defense means of the potential adversary,” https://thehill.com/policy/defense/422862-putin-oversees-testing-of-new-hypersonic-missile-system-report. Suppose Russians attack the US with these new missiles denotating at the same time robotic nuclear submarines on San Andreas fault line and near  Snćfellsjökull  https://www.google.de/amp/s/newizv.ru/news/science/26-12-2018/kirgizskiy-uchenyy-predlozhil-zatopit-ssha-s-pomoschyu-tsunami/amp
to trigger mega tsunamis in the Atlantic and in the Pacific
The US is SURE to be destroyed without any response. Your country is completely unprotected.

How does this disable the US ability to reduce every single major Russian city into a parking lot? Lmao. Go home Russian troll. Go learn some English too, while you're at it.
That must rankle for someone who hates Russia and the Russian people with a burning passion (though he certainly is a troll).

Who? Me? I don't really care about Russia or its people one way or another, their fate is so far removed from my own and Russia has been reduced to such a second-rate power in modern times I really couldn't care less.

He was referring to Proto. Proto is really opposed to Putin and Russian foreign policy (he's from Estonia ffs). Probably a concern troll tbh.

And who is not opposed to Putin and his foreign policy? Only some Russians. Can you name a single person in  your country who endorses Putin?

Some dodgy figures on the new right don't outright endorse Putin, but it's clear that they appreciate him. Baudet, Wilders, Duk, etc. Wilders initially shied away from embracing Putin because of the MH17 disaster, but apparently he decided it was time to follow his overlords on the American right (all to trigger the (((globalists))) obviously).

"dodgy" is the key word. You can remember Le Pen in France, and some representatives of AfG in Germany. They are all marginal politicians. Anti-Putin and anti-Russian sentiment has been much stronger across the world. Even in Russia as recent polls show most people disapprove of Putin's foreign policy https://www.google.ru/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/majority-russians-dont-support-putin-foreign-policy-poll-finds-1065558%3famp=1

Doesn't Russia have better things to do than try and figure out new ways to destroy the world? Honestly, at this stage of the game, whats even is the point anymore? They nuke us, we nuke them, doesn't need to get anymore complicated than that.

The point is the majority of Russians think so disapproving  of belligerent Putin's policy. And Putin is sensitive to Russian public opinion. The problem is that many Russians hate the US.

Let us assume these Russian hypersonic missiles do work according to their specs. It is obvious that they won't remain proprietary to Russia, as every country with military engineering capability will develop arsenals of them in a few years, or otherwise abandon the project as not viable.

So what is Russia to do with them -- strike while the iron's hot?

That is the question. Putin admits the USA will soon test its analog https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/russia-says-it-will-soon-deploy-mach-20-avangard-hypersonic-weapon-35377
Currently Russia has superiority,  in what way will it take advantage of this superiority?
