I'm guessing if we found out tonight it would be a leak and I doubt it will leak until immediately before.

If the possibility is there for Biden to announce his entire cabinet in the next week, that's a great way to temper the disappointment and bitterness that may come after the announcement. Plus it'd make his entire cabinet as a whole an important part of the ticket, not just singling out one other individual. That's some serious extending of the olive branch.

My only problem would be the negative campaigning to arise, particularly ones that wouldn't have Biden at all. Hypothetically speaking, ads showcasing a "Marxist America" with 'Treasury Secretary Warren' and 'Labor Secretary Sanders'. Or "Bringing back the swamp" with 'Secretary of State Rice'. Again, hypothetically speaking and only cause of that Vermont flight.

Perhaps something like a weekly reveal? Introduce another member of the potential cabinet for the next 10-12 weeks. That'd be a clever way for the campaign to stay in the news

I wouldn't necessarily conclude that.  Decent chance that one of the non-selected finalists' camps leaks it (and there seem to be 5-6 that were on the final shortlist, but that's not for sure of course).

Does anybody actually have proof that the specific Kamala Harris account on twitter that is not following Joe Biden had been following him recently?  Some folks on Twitter were saying that account hadn't followed Biden since May of 2019.

May 2019 is how far back the app checks. It also said she followed the TeamJoe account up until 10.08.2020.
