Wouldn't this give a Senate seat to the Republicans?

A Biden-Warren ticket would actually be exciting. I hope team Biden is at least considering it.

For f**k's sake, Joe. You're already the oldest ever presidential nominee from either party. Your party's top three leaders in the House are all 79 or 80. Your Senate leader turns 70 this year, and his deputy is 75. Is it really THAT hard to pick someone who won't be eligible for Social Security at the end of your first term?

Its Warren or Klobuchar,  both of them have agreed to it, not Harris. Harris and Booker wanted to be Prez not Biden's Veep

Pence is around the same age as Trump, so Biden can pick 70 yr old Warren whom is a better debater than Abrams

From one Biden supporter to another, is it possible to join this Bidencord?

That makes the perfect sense and Trump and Pence and GOP cant complain due to fact the are around same age. Harris wanted to be Prez and Abrams is far too inexperienced to be selected

Big fat X on that one. He's literally the only one tweeting it... and he's a Sanders surrogate.

I doubt Biden has finished vetting that fast.

I swear, people will believe anything if it comes from a blue checkmark.

Biden picking Warren is really the only scenario in which I'd vote for him, so this is encouraging news even though it's probably bunk.

not for long. Not unless Coakley decides to try it again. I could see Kennedy losing to Markey, then running in the special if this happens.

Pressler already said she is running for the seat should Warren run for Prez or Veep. If it's not Pressler, Samantha Powers is in reserve. Coakley wont run

Kennedy isnt losing to Markey, last poll had Kennedy up by 7

Huh. I've heard Harris/Warren/Klob/CCM but that makes sense, I guess.

Lance Bottoms is being considered but more likely she will have a cabinet post in the Biden administration. The first three are being considered more seriously.

Wouldn't this give a Senate seat to the Republicans?

I don't remember the exact timeline but some time in early 2021 there would be a special election so the R's tenure would be short. But, you really don't want to sacrifice your first 100 days.

I hope all of these rumors are trial balloons. We're going to see some funky stuff happen to the political landscape, potentially moving voters in either direction. Biden's campaign would be foolish if they nailed themselves to one candidate now in such a high-change time period; wait until July when you have a better idea what the state of the country is.

What about Rep. Lucy McBath? I know her seat (GA-06) in the Atlanta suburbs is vulnerable but if #TrendsAreReal then the Democrats should still retain it especially if Georgia is in play at the presidential level? African American woman and a Mother of the Movement. Could really hold Mike Pence's feet to the fire on the issue of gun control at the VP debate. I know she's a pretty low-profile congresswoman but a black woman now holding the same seat as Nasty Newt Gingrich would be pretty emblematic of the story of America with changing demographics and a shakeup of the electoral college map.

Got an invite to Bidencord? Oh, and Atlas Discord while we're at it? Or is that not kosher to ask for in public?
