I always thought of Rick Scott as a presidential aspirant and a good, flexible personality, but I think his window of time is passing. He could still do it in 2024. If it's after that, he might have to be a Bob Dole and pledge to serve one term or run with a young, likeable next-in-line. Same goes for Sanders and the rest of the aging politicians.

Rick Scott has a gigantic pile of money and has shown an unusual level of willingness to spend his own personal wealth during the campaigns.  The general election is too expensive for even Rick Scott to self fund but it could be a huge advantage during the primary Season.

Hawley seems like the clear answer to me. Maybe Scott (though I desperately hope he gets nowhere near the Presidency)
