Modeled after Kentucky's IRL recent policy although a bunch of States in all Regions IRL have passed similar anti-BDS bills.

I oppose this bill on free speech grounds.
It's just not right for the Southern Region to seek to regulate the speech of corporate bodies indirectly, via the denial of government contracts. Regardless of whatever one thinks about the actions taken by political players in the Holy Land, regardless of problematic actions taken by both sides in the Israel-Palestine conflict, one ought to agree with that.
And this bill does nothing to help peace in the Middle East either.

I, as a supporter of the free expression and a believer in the concept of protected speech, agree by-and-large with the contents of this blog post. (Beware the presence of some loons in the comment section, though)

I see this as common-sense legislation that supports our greatest ally in the Middle East. A broad coalition of states have passed legislation similar to this IRL; I encourage our region to adopt this policy as well.

A broad coalition of states has passed a stupid policy infringing on constitutional rights, yes. I don't want the South to do the same thing.
This bill is a misguided heaping pile of garbage that ought to rejected.
Do you stand for the free speech rights of your Christian brethren?

I will be opposing this bill on the grounds that I do not support the right's agenda of constant fandom towards Israel.

This bill seems like a threat to business liberties right? The southern region and all governments in it should be free to do business with whoever they want  (or more likely, with whichever contractor offers the best deal). If a pro-BDS company happens to be the one offering the best deal to the government, then so be it.

In RL, a motion to table takes precedence over a motion to vote, and so it is in order to offer both at similar times. However, I don't know if that's true in Atlasia.

Second the motion to table

The question occurs on the motion to table. Please vote AYE or NAY on the motion to table.
