Trump is really standing up for what he believes in rather than being just another NPC "leader" doing whatever "the markets" or "the international community" want.

As if Russia, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia are serious about fighting climate change.

Trump is standing up for the stupidity of people who think climate change is a hoax because it's snowing in New York. He truly represents this sort.

But it's not new- for long years, the Republican Party, bought by oil interests, has been the only power standing between the world and meaningful action on climate change, and for that I can't forgive them. Sad to see the U.S. continues to be the one force for the destruction of our coasts and the ravaging of our world. Donald Trump and the Republican Party should be ashamed of themselves- they are the one major force in the west that resists global cooperation and action on the danger of climate change, and the blood of the people of Florida, Louisiana etc will absolutely be on their hands.

Yeah, Putin, MBS, Morrison and Erdogan (to name the most guilty parties, but to a certain extent every single world leader is also duplicitous) signing the treaty shows it's worth nothing. This is the traditional G20 nonsense, where they all lie to each others faces about stopping protectionism and helping solve inequality/debt crises. Without effective and powerful global governance, they will continue to be controlled by nefarious agendas.

Trump is really standing up for what he believes in rather than being just another NPC "leader" doing whatever "the markets" or "the international community" want.

Beyond parody. Trump and all your international waifus (Bolsanaro, MBS etc) are no less puppets of global capital than the likes of Macron, Merkel and Trudeau. The only difference is your friends will wreck the planet in the process, letting in so many refugees that the recent crisis in Europe will look like a small gaggle of tourists by comparison.
