The congestion has continued throughout the day so I am glad I made the appointment for tomorrow.

Are you in any Facebook Groups for long COVID? I've heard this is a relatively common thing for people who had bad cases.

I do not use Facebook.

The doctor said it is inflammation in the lungs, but based on my profile, age and lack of underlying conditions, I should be able to recover back to normal at "some undefined point in time". She did x-rays but the week ended without them calling me back to tell me what they found.

The x-rays came back negative. If the chest congestion and tightness remain, the next step is to have the test done to check for asthma and COPD. The thinking is that since I have allergies, then it is possible I was developing asthma but my body was suppressing that only for Covid to aggravate the situation.

This past week was my first full week at work since December 6th - 12th and with this being right as the company started its new fiscal year at the beginning of February they rolled out new productivity standards. If it were just that it would be one thing, but they keep putting me in areas I am not as experienced in and keep making all kinds of veiled threats and dire warnings about tasks. They know about my lingering problems but any kind of understanding or accommodation is seemingly not in the cards and it is getting to the point where I feel like I am daily having to choose my job and having money to live over my health. Wednesday night through Thursday was especially bad since I pushed myself too hard Wednesday and then had the above problem happen on Thursday with unfamiliar assignments and constant pressure/stress from above.

Its a like a yo-yo, I began to think this time is different, this time it won't come back. Then I don't get enough sleep, the weather changes, I push myself too hard at work to please people who will never satisfied and it comes right back. The chest tightness I mean.

I have begun exploring my options for a new Deputy PPT. My basic criteria is that I want to keep it being from a Laborite, I would prefer some level of administrative experience, which frankly most all the options have and then beyond that activity levels. I hope to have a selection made in the next couple of days.

I will have to update and archive the Senate index tomorrow as since it is now over a week out of date sifting through a couple hundred posts is not something I can do in the few minutes I have while I should be getting ready for work. Tongue

I have made several contacts relating to the new chamber session and to debate on a bill or two.

Just updated the Senate wiki, good thing I didn't update it after the Congressional Reform Resolution, because copy and pasting the old text of that section back in would have been painful. Just had to add the links to the bottom for all three.

I used the "Past Noticeboard" links in the current 29th Thread, skimmed for SR coded bill numbers and ignored foreign policy and amendment stuff. I was able to review a year and a half of of relevant resolutions and edit the changes in just about ten minutes or so.

We have done so much to make wiki updating easier. Tongue

My noticeboard post and amendment tracker should be completely up to date as of this moment. That leaves the index in the second post of this thread and that is going to be probably too tall an order for tonight.

Just started some more votes. Not fond of doing Senate stuff on my phone but these sessions succeed or fail in the first couple weeks.

We are about to have a number of free slots. We have had a fairly decent start in terms of the number of bills and amendments so far, but I would like to see that keep going for the other 75% of this session. This week has been a bit slower than the previous ones, hopefully we can return to the starting pace over the course of the next week and continue forward on a solid footing for the rest of this session.

Its a good thing I have slowed down on my posting at least somewhat but even so, updating the index from the 13th onwards is going to be painful as hell and worse still I kind of need an hour or more to do that and it is not something I can easily split up because once I edit the post I have no indication of where I left off, so I have to do it all at once. I might squeeze it in tomorrow morning but that is a tall order for a work day.

I would like to see some more Senate bills as we are emptying out slots now on the Senate originated side and we have none to replace them.

Also, I will note that I have a lot of things going on at once and my hope is these will make certain things easier. Once I transition completely over to the new computer build, that will merge my ability to access discord and my primary Atlas posting computer into the same machine. This will also hopefully be comfortable for me since I did some rearranging in my room and the Windows Seven Computer is now five feet further away and thus making that kind of multitasking impossible right now.

I am waiting on a new computer desk that will fit it, which should arrive next week.

For the last several years, my allergies had been getting less bad even during historically bad periods like say Spring time when there is a lot of pollen or when I am exposed to large amounts of dust. A big part of the reason why this has probably happened is the medication that have been on has succeeded in suppressing them more and more. However since I had Covid, this appears now to have reversed itself and just like I was experiencing the same fatigue and muscle ache problem from 2018 a month ago, I am now experiencing more historical norms of allergy problems and combined with some degree of lung irritation and tightness (which is new). To make matters worse we had a warm spell that triggered a lot of pollen release here beginning last week and it was just during this period as well that administrative problems led to me going a week without my allergy medication. As a result, the last few days have been rather miserable for me.

The Senate Index is now updated to include all of my Senate actions up through the present moment. I have also fully updated the Senate as well and I will once again reiterate my call from before for more Senate bills. I am working on another Senate rules amendment at present to clear up some issues that were brought up so more time ago, but I will explain more about that in a short while.

As for the Senate rules, I have now updated and created a new wiki page because it wouldn't let me update the old one to reflect the name change. I will leave both linked on the wiki for now to ensure that there are no problems, but the OSPR one is the one that most accurately reflects current Senate rules at this time. I have moved the articles around and included the added one about Final votes, that was the primary objective behind the last Senate rules amendment.

Now that such has been done, I want to tinker with the definitions section to add some clarity as to legislation by type and also fix some other things that I might come across since last time I ended up finding more things that I wanted to do in the process of trying to address just one so the likelihood is that such will be happening again.
