Beto is incredibly selfish.

She has poor judgment if she thinks a Senate candidacy would be better for her than a TX-31 rematch

This, and Castro is a better Senate candidate anyway.

MJ Hager will win. GOP and Trump have trouble in Latino states: that's why TX was so close.. The reason why GOP won FL, was due to Rick Scott being popular

It's silly to think a perennial candidate who's never held elected office can defeat a three-term incumbent Republican Senator, in a red-leaning state, who was Senate Majority Whip last Congress. If anyone's beating Cornyn, it'll be Joaquin Castro, if he runs (which I very much doubt at this point).

I get that it's an uphill battle, but Castro is really selfish. This is a horrible cycle for the Democrats in terms of recruitment.

Castro is upset with his brother's chances in the Democratic primary, Joaquin is gonna stay in the House where he is a safer bet.

We have a recruitment in MJ Hegar.

Hegar has never won an election before.

I think Cornyn will hang on, but by a much narrower margin than in 2014.

Cornyn is lying about opposing Trump taking money from the border wall from what the military was supposed to get. He voted against blocking the emergency declaration, and said in February 2019 “I believe border security is part of national security. So I support the efforts to accomplish that secure border, .. The president’s left with a bad hand and has to play the best hand he can.”

What's the point of lying about it and possibly depressing deplorable base turnout, when it's so easily verifiable that he's lying? He's still going to win, but this can't exactly help him.
