Back in 2018, when Joe Donnelly underperformed the polls in his senate race in Indiana and lost, it was an early indicator that both Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota were also likely to underperform their respective polls and lose as well (which is exactly what actually happened - all three of them underperformed their polls by roughly the same amount).

For his year's Senate elections, are there any early-closing Senate races which may have significant implications about how some later-closing Senate races might turn out?

Obviously at 6pm EST if McConnell is having a harder time than expected, it's a bad sign for virtually every Republican on the ballot across the country.

GA and SC, if Ossoff is getting a majority or Harrison is within 1 or 2, it'll probably be a bad night for Republicans

Tillis underperforming Trump by 1.5+ points pretty much means game over in the Senate.
