The level of activity in the Chamber of Delegates is ridiculous. I try at least somewhat maintain separation between executive and legislative, but I (thanks to Mr. R bill suggestions) have basically been 2 branches of government the past few weeks.

Despite not introducing any legislation, I am not petitioning to recall TimTurner because of his experience in the position and ability to manage the Chamber effectively. I am also not recommending that Hillgoose be recalled because he has actually participated in a debate and has expressed interest on Discord/PMs of working on legislation, so I have optimism.

I am petitioning to recall Spark498 because he has been extremely inactive this session and has contributed nothing to debates (though he has made a couple posts, I'll give him that). Spark498 does the bare minimum in the legislature - with only 5 seats, we just can't afford to keep this level of incompetence any longer.

I am petitioning to recall Fillinovich because he disappeared on October 28th and hasn't posted since (hope everything is OK in real life).

Per legislative mandate, should these recalls be successful, I will appoint a Federalist and a Laborite and will find people who can commit to being active. I'd also like to remind people that there is currently a seat open from PragPop - my first preference is that it also goes to a Laborite, I will be reaching out to Labor leadership to see if they have recommendations.

I have nothing against either of them, but as I said previously, the South needs active representation.

I'd like to commend the Governor on promising to maintain the present partisan balance in the chamber. As has been stated in the past these recalls could be concerning as a method to target a minority party, and so it's good to see these recalls will be done right.

Statement

I will undergo the recall but do not plan to resign. Things have gotten busy IRL and I still remain committed to serving my constituents in the Southern region. I realize that Gov. TM is trying to keep things moving but I have much to contribute. I also understand his frustration at the pace of the Chamber but should not be conducting the duties of the legislature. I am present for most votes and plan to actively participate and write legislation when my responsibilities IRL dissipate. This will be in the next week or so.

I wish you all well and plan to continue serving the Southern region.

-Delegate Spark

Let the record show that there has been 3 votes so far - Spark missed 2 of them and Fillinovich missed all 3. I'd consider withdrawing this on Spark if he actually became active, but there have been MULTIPLE times where I/others have called him out on his inactivity, he promised to be more active, then continued to let us down. Time to put your money where your mouth is.

Speaker Elections (Only Hillgoose voted)
Puerto Rico Coin Act (No one voted, had to be reintroduced)
Black Mirror Act (TimTurner and Hillgoose voted, Spark voted after this recall petition started)

I was referring to last session since this session just began. I appreciate that consideration, my activity will improve I can still promise you and my constituents that. Thanks Governor for the transparency.

This has enough signatures. Per the Constitution, a recall vote will occur next weekend. I will notify the SoS.
