When you see polling firms stop polling certain races, it's time to triage. AZ, CO, GA, ME and NC for 52 votes is the number Ds are looking towards, not 60 seat proof majority

Bollier's ads have been actually been pretty great. If she can't win Kansas, I'm not sure any D could.

Bland moderate hero campaign, but thanks to the de-facto three-party-system, Kansas is the one place where that can work.

All the pundits: Cook, Gonzalez and Sabato, go the ratings for KS wrong, its an open seat, just like the Gov race, KS isn't reliable conservative state, its the home of Eisenhower and have a moderate republican party

Obama endorses Galloway, Schupp, De La Isla, Davids, and even a few KS State House candidates... but not Bollier. Unsurprisingly, he hasn’t endorsed Bullock either.

Not surprising. Obama's endorsement can probably only hurt Bollier. Her best shot is for the race to be nationalized as little as possible.

Interesting that he would endorse Galloway but not Bollier. Maybe he feels like there is nothing to lose in Missouri since she is polling so far down. The De La Isla endorsement will help boost turnout in Lawrence/Douglas County.

MO is likely R, KS since 2014, is moving center right, like it did when it elected Sebelius

Duty and Country, which is affiliated with Senate Majority PAC, is dumping $7.5 million into the open Kansas Senate race between GOP Rep. Roger Marshall and Democrat Barbara Bollier, James reported, a major sign the race in the red-leaning state is competitive.

the Republicans wouldn't do this if it were a likely R or safe R race like many suggest here

From an interview today, Bollier seems to be confused/unaware what the Patriot Act is:

So? I don't need a Senate candidate to know about every single act. This is reaching.

...this is hackery. The Patriot Act was a major, generation defining piece of legislation and is incredibly relevant and basic information a candidate should know.

If she doesn't know what the Patriot Act is then that would be an "Aleppo Moment" to say the least.

Agreed. I'm as eager as anyone for the Dems to win here, but the PATRIOT Act is politics 101. I doubt many people will change their vote because of this error, but it's not the story that Bollier wants in the news for a day or two in October.

Sadly voters don't care about this stuff. Tuberville didn't know what the Voting Rights Act is and it was barely news.

I don't think she will lose voters because of this, but in a tight race with just a couple weeks to go, any negative story could be the difference maker with the remaining undecideds.

KC Star has an article on it: https://www.kansascity.com/article246265375.html
