It's not fair to compare anyone to the Kennedy's. It's hard to be that bad.

Ted did. He threw a big fit and gave Reagan the Presidency.

Ted did. He threw a big fit and gave Reagan the Presidency.

He had to redeem his family’s legacy somehow.

He looks quite a bit like Robert’s side of the family:

Well, both are named Robert Francis.

Well, he lost. Kennedys don’t lose.

Tricky Dick would disagree with this statement.

Just because you're rich and have a decent head of hair doesn't merit a comparison to one of the Great Men of the twentieth century.

No one will replace Robert Kennedy, but the 2020 Democrat presidential candidate can achieve the Robert Kennedy dream and surpass what Obama couldn't do under Boehner's congress and reform and raise the cap on SSA.

RFK should be compared to Hillary Clinton, not Beto O'Rourke. Both got a boost from family connections to their political careers. Both carpet-bagged a New York Senate seat. And were it not for Sirhan Sirhan, both would've lost a Democratic nomination they thought they deserved and then lost in the general election the next time they ran.

It is fair. RFK was very overrated anyway.

I think that he is similarly charismatic. He certainly has tried to emulate it with his speeches from the beds of pickup trucks. Plus, they share first AND middle names.

No. Beto is a nobody who did well in an election. RFK was a transformational figure.

But, hey, Beto skateboards and dropped an f bomb. TRUE POLITICAL ICON! Smiley
