No lol. The two likeliest Democrats to be the nominees in 2020 are white males, as are most of the current "rising stars" (Buttigieg, Lamb etc).

Not necessarily.

Our Revolution & Justice Democrats, which are major progressive PACs, have endorsed some white male candidates. If the Democratic candidate is a white male who backs progressive policies, then that will still work.

Maybe Dems should start being hostile to white males to show them what it actually looks like. White males holding a slightly less over-proportioned percentage of power is not hostility to their group.

Biden could be.....the party is shifting hard left and if he is mediocre as president, a lot of Democrats will not have the urge to vote for another white man to be the standard bearer. Gavin Newsom has no political future since he has to face a recall in a deep blue state California 2021. Completely different than California 2003.

Last successful two white male Democratic ticket: Clinton-Gore 1992/1996
Last two white male Democratic ticket: Kerry-Edwards 2004
Last two male Democratic ticket: Obama-Biden 2008/2012
Last two white people on a Democratic ticket: Clinton-Kaine 2016

The Democratic Party will see more Biden-Harris type of tickets. Gone are the days of a Gore-Lieberman or a Dukakis-Bentsen.....the party wants to see and WILL see racial and demographic balance....

The Republican Party will see the same as well, soon......
