The amendment passes by a vote of 4-0. The Southern Elections Administrator is hereby directed to put this to a vote of the people at the next available opportunity.

It seems like the December exception in Article VII should also be applied in Article IV for the December senate election, but it is not. Is this an oversight?

Perhaps, I think it can be part of a larger discussion of whether or not we should change the voting weekend for November/December. That being said, this does not create a major complication currently, just potential for elections on back-to-back weekends in November/December. Rather than delay and since it has already been passed, I prefer to move forward with this amendment and revisit this topic afterwards. Thank you for bringing it up!
