Not a great poll for Scott, considering:

A Florida Quinnipiac poll coming later today. They have been generally very good in that state.

LOL, Scott with negative Favorable Ratings after a devastating Cat 4 Hurricane. Give me a break! Now we pretty much know that Q-Pac is crap.

They are the Gold Standard. They've nailed every race since 2010.

Sad that they didnt poll the governor's race

Quinnipiac does rolling releases. If you take a look at this poll, you'll see that the first question is #4. The Governor numbers will probably come out tomorrow.

The story here is really women and Independents. Look Nelson's % amoung women and Independents:

Democratic women: 94%
Independent women: 68%
Republican women: 10%

Independents: 58% (22 point margin)

Just voted an hour ago. Red tide Rick is done.

Oh and lol at all those who wasted their time worrying about all the noise and ignoring the fundamentals that easily pointed toward a Nelson win.

It’s looking like Red Tide Rick can’t handle the Blue Tide. Smiley

How hillarious is it that Scott spends $100 million of his own money running ads around the clock for a year while Nelson doesn't even run ads till the last 3 months and its just ads featuring him talking about going to space. Lmao but but Scott has high approvals but but Scott has more money but but Nelson is old.

Dude, the astronaut ads work.

Yeah, Quinnipiac got VA-GOV 2017 right, but that doesn’t mean we should automatically take every single one of their polls at face value and dismiss all the other FL polls as "junk" or "Republican-friendly". It’s not a good poll for Scott, and he probably won’t win in a Democratic wave, but I’d argue there’s still some uncertainty in this race.

Plus, IIRC, many around here complained about Quinnipiac during 2016 because their polls were too GOP-friendly.

They were in the middle of the summer, then they were weren't in the late summer, then they were pretty good here in Florida (had Clinton winning by 1, only two points off with Trump winning by 1).
