Kasich picks Condoleezza Rice, and Clinton picks Julian Castro. The keynote speakers are Brian Sandoval/Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders.

Fmr. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D-NY) / HUD Secretary Julián Castro (D-TX) ✓
Governor John Kasich (R-OH) / Fmr. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (R-AL)

Pretty low turnout. I doubt anyone touches immigration on the campaign trail.

Kasich wins easily.

https://www.270towin.com/maps/DWZ73. Oregon, New Mexico, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware are single-digit races.

In the Senate, Republicans gain Nevada and possibly Colorado, while holding New Hampshire. Not sure exactly how the House shakes out, but Bob Dold almost certainly survives Smiley

Condi's a horrible VP pick at this point, as she really isn't popular with the conservative base (both because she's black and because she's a Neo-Con). If Kasich wants a history-making running mate, he'd be better off with Nikki Haley, Joni Ernst or Kelly Ayotte.

Kasich's strengths as a candidate allow him to flip the Midwest (except for Minnesota).

Clinton narrowly carries Florida (but it easily is the closest state in the nation), and Castro's presence on the ticket allows her to narrowly take Texas.

Hillary Clinton/Julian Castro 49.6% 295 EV
John Kasich/Condi Rice 49.1% 243 EV
