I don't even remember who Cyrusman is, but I imagine he must've been really bad to end up on this list.

Higgins is someone I would have on my list if I weren't trying to report his ass to Bantown.  But he's been quiet lately.

Did he get banned? I took Grassr00ts off of ignore once he was banned but I don't remember if Higgins was banned or not.

I only use the ignore list in the case of someone having a signature that makes the forum impossible to read in public.  I currently only have Turkisblau on the list (don't think he even posts here anymore), but I also had Texarkana on it for a while for the same reasons.

Now, on another forum I post on, there is a poster who might be even more aggressive about his pro-COVID restriction views than Forumlurker, and he does it in a really aggravating way that makes my blood boil when I read his posts.  I'd probably ignore him if I had the option.

It doesn't seem to make much of a difference either way; I'm sure I've been on his list for months but he still responds to me fairly often. All he's doing is creating more work for himself by hitting "show post."

I think the interesting thing about these lists is that they are often populated by long departed or banned users, so reading through them is like looking at the fossil record at increasingly deep layers of earth, but for forum history.
