Awww. I was going to ask Antonio my question I have asked others about whether he would support my proposal for rewriting the 14th Amendment. I wonder what I've done to deserve being on someone's ignore list?

Un-ignored to respond to that. You were a recent addition and I'm still a bit on the fence, but it gets seriously tiresome that the only thing you ever talk about is your distaste for judicial overreaches by left-wing courts (but you never talk about equally glaring overreaches by the right, interestingly), even derailing unrelated threads to go off on your pet issues. As someone who's critical of judicial overreach across the board out of principled commitments, this is infuriating. You seem to be using the issue as a partisan cudgel and an excuse to concern troll, in addition to being just plain uninteresting for repeating the same stuff over and over again.

In fairness to MarkD, he's been very critical of "activist" decisions by conservative judges as well, à la Bush v. Gore.  He's also been pretty transparent about his right-leaning views and history of voting for mostly Republican presidents.

Overall he's a pretty inoffensive poster, IMO.  And a lot of his concerns about judicial overreach are valid, even though I disagree with him on the Roe and Obergefell decisions.

fwiw, he's unignored now

Thank you for that. Scott was right about me. The difference between how I feel about activist left-wing courts and activist right-wing courts is that the former are guilty of it more frequently while the latter was guilty of it most glaringly in the case of Bush v. Gore.

As such, I was motivated to draft a constitutional amendment of my own, and now I will ask you what you think of it, over in your AMA thread.

Cheers!

Fair enough! That was a spur of the moment reaction after one particular post you made (don't remember which one), in retrospect probably overreaction.

Tchenka has been added to the ignore list.

I liked him at first because I found his Trump cultist bashing funny, but his various shticks he's tried have shown he isn't actually that funny. Take away the humor, and he's just a far-leftist who has obnoxiously little knowledge of the issues and contributes little worth reading.

No one now. Brucejoel was on there because of sheer volume of posts but he seems to have toned it down.

Nope, he's still at 50 posts per day. Only person worse is TimTurner, a somehow even worse poster.

They're both just needlessly abrasive and rude to people who don't agree with them or support Biden.  The anti-Muslim bigotry from GMA was the last straw for me.

KYWildman threw a full blown temper tantrum because I said Bernie was a better candidate than Warren.

On the bright side, he's refreshingly honest about the real reason he and his ilk hates Bernie.

Given that's it been almost a year since I returned from my hiatus, and given that I've managed to better handle myself, and to interact with others, since returning, I've decided to provide an updated list at this juncture, so as to contrast it with my previous list:

Carey
Joe Republic
Cory Booker
Ban my account ffs!
Landslide Lyndon
Sentor MAINEiac4434 of Lincoln
DrScholl
Ghost of Ruin
Priest of Moloch
Slander and/or Libel
parochial boy
136or142
Shameless Bernie Hack
Lean Branson
AtorBoltox
Mizzouian
Skunk
Not_A_Man
Charcolt
Councilor CookieDamage (L-NJ)
Dad

As I've said before, I've removed several individuals from the list, but it's still quite extensive. I've only added three individuals-Charcolt, AtorBoltox, and Cory Booker-to this list since my return, and AtorBoltox is someone who had been on the list before. I may consider removing more of these individuals as the circumstances warrant, especially since I've had no open conflicts with some of them since I've returned here. My standards are now much stringent than they were before. I will only add someone to the list if they do nothing but engage in completely unfounded or baseless attacks against me, or if they engage in trolling that adds nothing to the conversation. I will not block anyone just because they disagree with me, or argue with me over something. So long as people refrain from deep, sharp personal attacks, I will listen and engage.

While i don't disagree with this philosophy, you could still ignore quite a few people on Atlas without surrendering anything intellectually.

UPDATE: Skunk has recently been removed from her position as the sole person I've ignored. She was on the list for a while, particularly due to me being pissed at her for reasons regarding identity in the past. However, I've since gotten over it, and we're now cool with each other. Currently, nobody is on my ignore list.

On Discord, I have 6 people blocked. Of the six, only one is an Atlas user. Skunk used to be on the block list as well, although I removed her for the same reason mentioned above. As for the one guy who's still on there, he's really annoying, and it's probably only a matter of time before my ignore list goes back up to 1.

I don't even remember who Cyrusman is, but I imagine he must've been really bad to end up on this list.
