One of the worst examples of a "progressive" that identifies the with the label for factionalist reasons first and ideological reasons second. I haven't really come up yet with a short, pithy term to encompass this type of left-wing punditry that parallels the type of reactionary, inflammatory rhetoric that has come to define the right-wing in this country, but whatever that label should be called, he falls under it.
