Kavanaugh obviously hurts the Republicans in swing states, though. He helps only in ND/WV/TN.

There is a tropical Storm heading towards FL. Gillum has already suspended campaigning for the time being. I think that this will help Scott again. Floridians trust their Governor after his response with IRMA in 2017.

But even so, there likely aren't a ton of voters who are still on the fence with less than a month to go.

If that is the case Scott is in good shape. Every time a Hurricane hit FL he handled it well and responded accordingly AND got a bump in his JA.

As gross as it is to even thinking about, Hurricane Michael looks like it's going to almost exclusively hit the panhandle. 93% of Floridians don't live on the panhandle f.y.i so most wont be effected.

I have family that lives in Tallahassee though so I'm very worried regardless.
