Honestly, this poll is great news for McCaskill. If I recall correctly, this pollster has never not overestimated Republicans by double digits. Which means that McCaskill has to be leading by at least 2 points.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to trust the shoddy internal that frequently overestimates the Republicans by 10+ points over literally every other poll that shows a close race. I am an Atlas Forum poster after all.

Of course. It would be even better if it said Hawley +20; that would make this race Safe D.

It's McLaughlin for a Super PAC, so yeah. I'm not going to take it seriously because it's McLaughlin, a pollster known for missing race after race after race by double digits.

This is a poll which was ordered by the single.person-PAC promoting Josh Hawley. If there is anything like a definition of a push poll, this will qualify.

Thank you both. I suspected as much with those numbers. Perhaps a little early to say h a w l e y is getting nervous oh, what does it feel like to anyone else that they're releasing such a ridiculous Paul to try to change the momentum that seems to be going in mccaskill's favor lately?

This poll seems pretty McLaughable to me. Not a chance in hell that it's +8 either direction.

Folks, this is obviously not a good poll of a race that remains toss-up, but "this poll is bad for Hawley" is an incredibly dumb take.

This poll has Hawley up by single digits. This poll almost always ends up having a double digit error of overestimating Republicans. Putting those 2 facts together clearly indicates a bad poll for Hawley.

I love that so many people are taking this poll seriously when even I am not. I have been the most consistent toss-up/tilt R user for this Senate contest since Nov 2016.
