Because Baldwin is one of their biggest political opponents, Johnson won in 2016 which gives them "hope" of winning this one, etc...

They're stupid though, to target a safe incumbent instead of vulnerable Democrats in deep red states.

I think the race would be significantly tighter, but Baldwin would still be leading. I think she would be trailing if Walker had jumped in though.
