Former State Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-Somerset) is the 2021 NJ GOP gubernatorial frontrunner, next to former pharma CEO Bob Hugin, who lost the 2018 Senate race and Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden.

Who do you think wins the NJ GOP nomination, it is 2 years out. Gov. Murphy's approval ratings are in the 40s and Trump and Christie are still toxic in NJ and his name may haunt the NJ GOP in 2021 even if he loses.

Who wins?

Of these Hugin

But I think the NJ GOP sees Murphy as somewhat vulnerable (Likely D), and tries to get someone like Kean or Beck, could also see a former Rep like Lance run, if NJ GOP is desperate

Very tough call among the three. Lean Ciattarelli, because he has the most support among the rank-and-file. Golden has the institutional backing and Hugin has the money to overcome both.

Out of these three, Hugin. But Murphy is not vulnerable. The GOP won’t win another statewide election in NJ for a long, long time. Trump’s name will keep the GOP brand poison in NJ long after he is gone.
