I wonder which one's going to be closer, MO, or this? It'll probably be this one.

Imagine if the actual election result is a tie. I mean, it's Florida.

Under conventional wisdom, spaceman should win in the end.

I think Nelson probably wins by 1-2% at this point, but he's lucky this is looking like a great year for Democrats. If he ran this kind of campaign in a Clinton midterm, oh boy...

And Rick Scott was in the U.S. Navy. So Nelson doesn’t have the monopoly of patriotic service.

Because Scott has pretty positive job approval ratings as Governor (massive job creation during his 8 years as Governor and because of his handling of Hurricane Irma) and because he is more known than De Santis is.

Nelson is such a low energy uninspiring candidate, outside of us political hacks and a few Floridians, nobody knows who Bill Nelson is. He has a very low profile, I can't think of anything big or notable he has done in the Senate. He is the Democratic Jeb, thank god this is going to be a blue tsunami year.

I will never understand these possible Gillum-Scott voters. That said, it looks like Rick Scott peaked too early. We're consistently seeing ties or extremely meager leads for both candidates now. It remains a tossup, and will remain a tossup, but that was not money well spent by Scott.

Rick Scott was probably in the lead until he started running ads 24/7 and voters were reminded of his ugly mug causing his lead to tank

Yep have to agree looks like herding wouldn't be surprised if it ends up with Nelson winning clearly(either through polling error and/or shift of the polls towards Nelson).

This race is still competetive and you can't underestimate Scott due to his comeback performance in 2014,.
