Cuomo's still popular, he'll most likely win a third term, but some voters may want a new governor after 8 years. Likely/Safe D.

48-41 isn't exactly a crushing advantage.

Upstate New York State has been bleeding jobs for a long time. They hate the neoliberals with a passion.

If Cuomo runs and tanks in Upstate again it could imperil House Ds efforts to flip those districts, his '14 performance definitely cost Ds a few seats up there.

New York could be very interesting. Unlike Dan Malloy, Andrew Cuomo would almost certainly win the primary if he ran again, but would be at risk if a major leftwing 3rd party challenger came up in the general. NY would be Lean/Likely D if he ran, Safe D if he doesn't.

No primary numbers? Cuomo would be in much more danger next year if it's a progressive wave.
