Encouraging for Republicans, but still way too close for comfort. That said, Blackburn can definitely win this if she gives Bredesen the Strickland/Bayh treatment, and it’s probably the Tossup race most likely to go R.
Is there any material to do that with though? So far, Bredesen seems much better than Bayh. No residency issues have come up and no post-Senate scumbag lobbying gigs. I'd like to think that if Blackburn had something, she would have used it by now. Afaik, early voting in Tennessee begins in a couple weeks, and candidates need time to marinate in a scandal before it implodes their base of support.
