Yeah - according to the Census Act:

2. If a voter has been registered in more than one region over the previous one hundred and eighty days, they cannot register outside the region they were most recently registered in.

I see. Thanks for the response. Wouldn't this also apply to diptheriadan, who moved from the South to Lincoln back to the South (but I think is listed as part of the South in the census spreadsheet)?

You have to pick an American state (or constituent part of the UK), there currently isn't an option to play in Canada.
