With so many new posters (two years more or less), it is a good idea to have a welcome thread for new posters.
I don't know if anyone has done this before, so...
Introduce yourself.
If you have been here more than two years and don't feel that you have properly done so Introduce yourself.
Why are you here? What is your history vis a vis politics etc etc
I have been here for a long long time, but I never introduced myself.
Politically I have been all over the continuum. starting as a far right wingnut, (from 1974-1984 more or less, to Democrat to Green and back again... simply put I would describe myself as pacifist.)

Go!.....
....

I'm Grassroots, despite my real name being Jerry and my screen nickname being Reform Revolution.

I've been here for eight months.

I'm here because this is probably the only good site for constructive political conversation online.

Over the years, I've evolved from a centrist libertarian into a moderate conservative.

Haven't been here for two years quite yet.

I joined Atlas in February 2017, I don't really remember how I found it. I like it, I've met some great people here (and especially on discord).

I wasn't that political before 2015, really, Bernie Sanders was what got me interested in politics. I went from progressive berniebro (who kinda liked Trump for at little while too) to libertarian socialist to left-libertarian.

My political views are in my signature.

Since joining Atlas, my confidence around women has improved and i stutter less in public speaking situations.

I would recommend Atlas to anyone who is interested in reading about why Democrats hate Donald Trump and they will never forgive him.

I wouldn't really consider myself new at all since I have nearly 500 posts, but to people who just showed up here, I hope you enjoy the forum. It gets pretty addicting after a while lol
