If the priests can content themselves with having sex with each other instead of with children, I think that's a compromise everyone can live with.

You know when you were in a really embarrassing position at school and the rumors spreading wouldn’t stop. How you could wish the mortification would stop and it would blow over. Wouldn’t it be great if no one spreads your misery and continue as new.

There's nothing wrong with it at all.  Priests are human beings - they should be able to be intimate with other consenting adults and even get married - the Vatican's sexual puritanism is a big source of its molestation crisis.

You guys who are saying that this is no big deal, it was occurring in public. The two priests should have gotten a room; that way they would not have gotten arrested.
