Would win all 50 states in a Presidential Election?

Pick two people from the US, and if you want, pick two from World History and one or neither of them can be from the US; ie: Lincoln/Washington, FDR/Gandhi, Buddha/Aristotle, etc, etc.

Such revered people are revered because they were ahead of their time, not because their beliefs would be popular/good today. I don't think a slaveowner would actually have that easy a time winning all 50 states in 2018 America, regardless of what else he did. This is true of a lot of very popular historical figures; I think both Roosevelts would be torn apart for internment/blatant racism, and Kennedy for his philandering.

I would say the best bet as far as presidents go would be Eisenhower/Carter. There is probably a better ticket in historical senators or governors who were too ahead of their time to be nominated, but I am not knowledgeable enough to suggest one.

That would lose most of evangelistan, definitely the southern part, based on ideology.

They would also lose most states if they didnt do something about the veep running around with 12 guys and rumors of sordid going ons at their commune. Maybe give him a shave and a wife,  and tell him to tone down his class warfare thing, though he would still be a drag on the ticket.

On the positive side, if the top of the ticket were willing to smite some convicted criminals on national tv and make a campaign theme of law and order, he might pick up some votes, especially in the south. But far from a 50 state sweep, or even a definite win.

I'm more interested in what two word nicknames Trump would give them if they were running against him in 2020.
