It’s confirmed that Russia was successful in influencing the 2016 election; the only thing unconfirmed is to what extent they influenced it.  We also know that they attempted to hack into voting machines themselves though they were unsuccessful.

Also confirmed is that they will try to meddle in the 2018 midterms and the 2020 election.

Trump and Republicans in Congress refuse to take action to stop meddling and our elections (including voting machines) have never seemed more insecure.

So why aren’t you worried about this and why shouldn’t I worry?  I’m basically asking you to ease my mind and convince me that whatever the results are for the upcoming elections that they’ll be legit.

They're convincing would be based on them not caring, so you shouldn't care either. They feel that way since it benefits them and their interests, which consequently are also Trump's interests.

Here’s an argument: life isn’t solely about elections. Go outside and speak to real life people.

An odd argument to bring up on a site with "election" in the name

It’s the most deserving argument OP gets for starting a thread with that title.

No, that's a silly answer, and doubly so considering the nature of this forum.

Not a Trump supporter but there’s a reason decentralized US elections are a good thing

You’re right. Let OP argue with Krazen’s talking point instead. Smiley

I'd be more worried that elections this year and in 2020 will be allowed to happen at all in states where Trump/other Republicans are trailing.

If stealing the election was easy Barry and Hillary would have done it.

Obama would steal elections that he won outright?
