Accolades for what? Were you predicting a DeSantis and Scott victory?

Racism won in Florida last night, but what more should I expect from Floridians! Poor Gillum!

"A white guy who is a republican won against a liberal who just happens to be black! Racism!"

By your ridiculous logic I could day the same about MI SEN.

Stabenow wasn't a moderator of white supremacist site. Obama didn't go in for her and start calling John James an Uncle Tom.

Try again.

Poor Gillum? F*** that guy and his ego. Poor us, for having to deal with Florida and its unnecessarily large amount of importance and influence. Again, I emphasize, f*** Florida. I'm almost glad that it disappointed again because now I can hate it even more than I had previously. It ruined the night early. What is this state's f***ing obsession with Prick Scott? Why does he keep winning by <1%? It's maddening.

If we trust the exit poll, Gillum lost the White vote by 21%. Hillary lost it by 32%.
However, DeSantis did better with the Hispanics.
The best example is Miami-Dade; Gillum won the county by 21% while Hillary won it by 29%.

I voted for Ron DeSantis in this thread’s poll, and I’m very sorry that I was right.

In all seriousness, it looks like the race is going to hit the recount trigger. Doubt it changes the result, but Florida is going to have a triple recount with the Senate, Gov, and Again Commissioner all having their ballots examined.

Caputo just tweeted that Gillum is in recount territory. Nelson gaining votes and apparently Nikki Fried has taken the lead for Agriculture Commish.

Was Gillum hurt by his stand against Stand Your Ground? I know that I certainly don't think it should be illegal to kill someone who's trying to kill you...

All 6,111 precincts are in according to politico, so yep, here we go into a auto-generated recount. It's going to next to impossible to make up a 17K and a 38K margin in senate and gov races respectively even if a vast majority of new votes go to Nelson/Gillum.

Welp, Ag Comm is our sh**tty consolation prize I guess. Fried better start fundraising ASAP for the 2022 gubernatorial race. Nelson is finished unless there really are 30k uncounted ballots

The 2022 gubernatorial race is irrelevant. The state supreme court fix is already in, and the next redistricting does not happen until 2032. Sure, a governor might be able to veto legislation, but that's not much consolation when the GOP has already had 25 years to pass any legislation it wants anyways. The 2018 gubernatorial election was it. Gillum blew it, and there's no coming back from this... period.

Again, not if initiated amendments to create redistricting commission(s) are filed for 2020. That happened in 2010 and both passed. The only reason they didn't work is because they violated the cardinal rule of initiatives: never, ever expect partisan lawmakers to do the right thing.

There are MORE votes for Agriculture Commissioner in Broward than for Senate or Governor. Something fishy is going on.

Just wait until they try to even it out with more fake Dem votes for Senate and Governor.

Is that like fake news and alternative facts? Or is this just a piss poor attempt at trolling Libs?

No it's not the Rs have to win FL  in conservative Edays outside the MOE they only won once and there is a poll out showing Biden inside the MOE , users act like Rs won FL by 20 every Eday and OH

Ds conceded IA because we lost by 12 and we lost conservative Edays outside MOE not FL and OH is competitive due to blk vote

If Rs win by 12 again I. 24 we will concede FL
