Most authoritarian poster vs. most libertarian.

I vote freedom. I vote Bono.

Unlike some people on this forum, I actually really like Bono, even though he is kinda crazy at times Tongue

Repugnant?
Do my economic views gross you out?

Bono

While I may not always agree with him, I wouldn't call his economic views "repugnant." He has excellent knowledge of economic theory (or, to be specific, Austrian economics).

Bono is closer to me on economic issues, which are the main issues I care about, so I'd back him.

Jake isn't the radical "fascist" some make him out to be though.

Jake

I'd rather have an American fascist than a Portuguese backstabber.

Bono may be 100% completely crazy, but he is the sane choice here.

I'm not disputing his knowledge of economic theory, which is impressive but the simple fact is that I'm left-of-centre on economic issues. For me to embrace classical or neo-liberal economics would be tantamount to me abandoning my social conscience and I could never do that - and no I'm not a socialist

Gross disparities of wealth are the origin of many social ills. Capitalism can have a compassionate face, and in having so, can serve the common good

He's not completely crazy. I may not agree with him on economics and things like gun control, but if you talk to him you see he's a very nice guy.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Ow, this is a tough decision. Although a lot of forumnites seem to have something against one/both of them, I've personally never really had any major problems with either. I like both of them equally, so I'll flip a coin...

And Jake it is. Sorry, Bono. Tongue

Jake, because I think he looks quite hot.

Bono is pretty groovy

(although we don't agree on economics)

Jake is cool on the boards here but we don't agree on anything, come to think of it, do you like Santorum, Jake? You never talk about him like Keystone Phil does (he studies Santorum's face you see)

Santorum's alright. I'll support him depending on his vote on Miers.

Wow that was fast Smiley

Thats probably a good choice. It'll be very interesting to see if the GOP Senators vote as a block again or split like the Dems did with Roberts.
