I'm not disputing his knowledge of economic theory, which is impressive but the simple fact is that I'm left-of-centre on economic issues. For me to embrace classical or neo-liberal economics would be tantamount to me abandoning my social conscience and I could never do that - and no I'm not a socialist

He's not completely crazy. I may not agree with him on economics and things like gun control, but if you talk to him you see he's a very nice guy.

Thats probably a good choice. It'll be very interesting to see if the GOP Senators vote as a block again or split like the Dems did with Roberts.
