"Wow, it makes me really mad to see how disrespectful Trump is being. I had no way of knowing how little regard he had for veterans before this happened."

[a week passes]

"Trump LOVES the troops. MAGA forever."

They should have known Trump was an jerk when he bashed John McCain's Vietnam War service by saying he wasn't a hero because he was captured.  Sometimes I think the problem in this country isn't the politicians, its these dumbass voters who put them in office.

This is an ad hominem attack on voters that has no place on a sanct forum like uselectionatlas.org.

Anyone who suggests that Trump voters are anything other than relatable country folk with big hearts is a bigot. Any "racism", "anti-intellectualism", or [checks notes] "acts of terrorism and violence in the name of white supremacy" attributed to them is just because of those smug coastal elitists making them feel anxious.

Lol. Yeah, who could have seen this coming? Him saying he didn't consider McCain a hero because he was captured gave no indication whatsoever!

As an old hamster breeder, and some of my hamsters did some pretty loopy things...I'm rather offended by this comparison.

Your hamsters probably had object permanence, which is more than can be said for the majority of the American electorate

So much bigotry from the "tolerant left" on this thread. How dare you all suggest that white "hardworking" Trump supporters are anything other than stable geniuses who vote very rationally! This, not gerrymandering, spending by the Koch Brothers/RNC, partisan loyalty/stubbornness, tactical mistakes by actual members of the DNC, lack of education (it's better not to go to college liberal brainwash camp), dog whistles, nor bias in media coverage, is why Democrats lose elections!!!! My mind model tells me that 45% of West Virginians would've voted for Hillary if Democrats on the internet had only been nicer, and that this thread just cost the Democrats 10% in the Rust Belt!

This kind of attitude is precisely what led to Trump's election.

Normal people have busy lives and don't spend their entire day posting about leaked internal polls or the minutiae of the BS circus around Trump on an internet forum.

This is fine and normal, and frankly a heck of a lot healthier than any of us on this godforsaken website.

This type of internet smugness is exactly why I went from being a socialist and Bernie Sanders supporter to a Donald Trump Republican. Multiply that by a few hundred thousand and that’s how you got President Trump you liberals.

Just as a heads up to some people in this thread, if you're going to openly admit that you voted for who you did for President to get back at someone on the internet who hurt your feelings, please don't complain about anyone else being a "sensitive snowflake" who makes important decisions only based on their feelings ever again.

A coked-out hamster actually has a longer attention span than the average American voter.

Didn’t everyone say Access Hollywood was the beginning of the end for him? Or Charlottesville? Or “sh**thole”? Or the family separations? Or Helsinki?

Well, since the majority didn't care about torture and war crimes under Bush why would anybody care about the honor of a person who defended these atrocities?

What I don't understand is for the past 2 years all we've heard is the Trump voters, the Trump voters... what about the plurality of voters that voted for Hillary, or the majority of voters that did not vote for this guy?  What about all of the patriotic, fed-up Americans in all of the blue towns and cities?  We've had it up to here with this asshole.  I don't give a s**t why people voted for Trump.  It was one damn election.
