I agree with these conclusions to a point. However, I think that there’s a substantial chunk of people who know this is wrong but just look the other way because they just want to see him tear sh**t up

I do mostly agree - Trump supporters are those who, either openly or deep down, do not want a government of law. Either because they are themselves crooks like Trump (a small but wealthy and influential segment) or, and I think this is true for most of them, because they don't like the results that come from actually having just laws and treating people equally under them.
